How Does Surge Protection Work?

Power surges are unpredictable and can have several causes like sudden voltage changes on a circuit, faulty appliances, storms, or provide faults in the power provider. This excess current is then securely redirected through the excess earth wire, directly into the ground. This prevents more current than normal from flowing to your appliances effectively ensuring that they are protected from any injury that could be caused by power surges.
