Adjusting Ceiling Fans for Surrey Downs Summer and Winter

Most fan models have an important switch conveniently placed on the motor housing which changes the direction the fan blades turn for winter and summer.

In summer, use the setting that moves the air downwards to create a cool breeze, and use it to recirculate the chilled air from your air conditioner.

Conversely, the winter setting moves the fan in the opposite direction, gently recirculating the warm air back down through the edges of the room.

Surrey Downs residents will find this to be a very energy efficient and cost-effective option for maintaining climate control throughout the year within their home. Simply by switching to the proper ceiling fans setting, you can easily improve your comfort levels.
